CST is a gentle touch or movement made using 5 grams of pressure in the fingertips which is only the weight of a nickel. Feeling your baby’s body will help to find the areas that are restricted or stuck from being in your womb or the way they arrived to the outside world. Imagine being stuck in the same position for weeks on end, how would your body feel? Because babies cannot tell us where it hurts, CST can relieve discomfort with its gentle techniques. It does not look as if anything is happening during treatment other than your baby being admired. You will see changes in your baby develop during the days following a CST treatment.

What will CST help my baby with?
Feeding difficulties
Processing difficult pregnancy and birth
Recover from birth process (c-section, long labour, fast labour/delivery, intubation, resuscitation, etc.)
Gassiness
Stomach issues
Reflux
Head/Face/Body shape
Baby favouring one side (during tummy time, during feeding, or sleeping)
Sustained birth injuries
Colic
Unexplained fussiness
Sleep
And so much more…

Birth Mark clients are prioritized, but we are offering spots for pay-what-you-can community members.

Natasha Matte CLC offers one-on-one virtual and in-person infant feeding and lactation support for Birth Mark clients and the community. A free initial intake phone or video appointment is required to assess needs and determine a course of care. In-office clinic appointments are also available on Fridays.

As a Lactation Counsellor, Natasha provides guidance and support to help clients navigate breast/chestfeeding. Some of the support requests she commonly fields include: pain while nursing, supply concerns, weaning, engorgement, and difficulty latching. Many people connect in the early days after birth to make sure everything is on the right track, and some folks are just interested in getting resources to make an informed feeding decision that works for them.

Natasha believes that feeding relationships don’t just look one way and there isn’t just one solution that works for everyone. Natasha is passionate about her clients being able to meet their breast/chestfeeding goals, and she looks forward to working with you.

Please note, at this time, services provided by Natasha are limited to up to 6 visits and for Birth Mark clients and community program participants only.
